Description

Boat

M/Y Sea Treasure brings genuine large-yacht volume to Egyptian liveaboard diving. The current operator presentation describes a 2026 debut, an overall length of 45 metres, five decks and a maximum of 36 guests. A separate managing-fleet record describes the launch as 2025 and the length as 46 metres, but both agree on the feature that matters most to rooming: exactly 18 guest cabins spread above the lower-deck restaurant and working areas.

The scale is used thoughtfully. The air-conditioned restaurant has broad sea-facing windows and enough separation from the lounge for meals to feel like a distinct part of the day. Breakfast and lunch are presented as buffets, while the operator describes a more structured evening dinner. The panoramic indoor salon uses large sofas, 65-inch screens and long windows for briefings, image review or a cool retreat from the afternoon sun. Three bars and refreshment points reduce the need for a full group to gather in one place.

Outdoor life extends over several levels. Open loungers are balanced by deep-shade seating, so a guest can find direct sun, moving air or protection during the same surface interval. The highest leisure deck is organised around a panoramic outdoor jacuzzi, and the managing fleet also lists a massage corner. These are real comfort advantages after repeated dives, but they do not turn the yacht into an unattended resort: jacuzzi access, glassware, footwear and wet-deck rules remain subject to the crew’s safety instructions.

Sea Treasure’s dive deck is designed for a large group without asking everyone to work from the same narrow aisle. Personal stations, storage, tank handling space and two Zodiacs support staggered teams, while Nitrox is available for certified divers when ordered. The deck crew controls filling, analysers and cylinder movement. Camera users should request the assigned preparation and charging area during the boat briefing, keeping wet housings and high-load chargers away from cabin sockets.

The current operator safety list includes life rafts and life jackets, fire alarms and firefighting systems, emergency oxygen, first-aid kits, GPS, navigation and radio communication, professional guides, a written Emergency Action Plan and briefings before sailing and diving. Guests still have an active role: learn both escape routes from the assigned cabin, keep corridors clear, attend the muster briefing and never leave unsupported electrical equipment charging in an empty room.

Cabin

Sea Treasure accommodates 36 guests in exactly 18 ensuite, individually air-conditioned cabins. The operating fleet’s deck inventory is complete:

  • 6 Main Deck Twin Cabins: two single beds, broad sea-view window, private bathroom with shower and toilet, individually controlled air conditioning and storage; maximum 2 guests each
  • 2 Main Deck Master Jacuzzi Suites: one double/king bed, sea-view window and a private indoor jacuzzi within the ensuite bathroom area, plus shower, toilet, individually controlled air conditioning and storage; maximum 2 guests each
  • 4 Sun Deck Twin Cabins: two single beds, sea-view window, private bathroom with shower and toilet, individually controlled air conditioning and storage; maximum 2 guests each
  • 2 Sun Deck Master Jacuzzi Suites: one double/king bed, private ensuite jacuzzi, shower and toilet, sea-view window, individually controlled air conditioning and storage; maximum 2 guests each
  • 2 Sun Deck Panorama Suites: one king-size double bed, approximately 180-degree panoramic windows, private shower and toilet, individually controlled air conditioning and storage; maximum 2 guests each
  • 2 Jacuzzi Deck Twin Cabins: two single beds, high-deck sea view, private shower and toilet, individually controlled air conditioning and storage; maximum 2 guests each

The count is exact: 8 cabins on the main deck, 8 on the sun deck and 2 on the Jacuzzi Deck equal 18 rooms; at two people per room, the maximum is 36. The lower deck contains the galley, restaurant and two guide cabins rather than saleable guest accommodation. The two guide rooms are not included in the 18-cabin guest total.

Couples have six clearly differentiated premium options: four Master Jacuzzi Suites and two Panorama Suites. The Master category’s defining feature is the private indoor jacuzzi; the Panorama category instead prioritises the broadest outlook. A jacuzzi should not be promised in a Panorama Suite unless the specific room confirmation says so. Likewise, the main- and sun-deck twin rooms are the natural choice for dive partners, while the two highest-deck twins appeal to guests who value extra separation from the main accommodation corridor.

Current partner material publishes 120-centimetre twin beds and a 160-centimetre king as examples across the yacht, along with towels, ponchos, shampoo and hair dryers. It does not publish a reliable floor area for any category, and it does not map every bed width to a numbered cabin. No square metres are invented here. When bed width, steps, window orientation or jacuzzi access is important, the booking should name the category and cabin number.

All guest categories are above the waterline in the current deck description and use wide exterior windows rather than lower-deck portholes. That brings daylight and views but does not make the rooms identical: proximity to the salon, restaurant, jacuzzi, stairs, engines and outdoor gathering areas varies. Light sleepers and guests with limited mobility should discuss priorities before the rooming list is closed.

Diving

Sea Treasure is promoted across a broad Red Sea programme: North, North & Dahab, North & Brothers, Brothers–Daedalus–Elphinstone, Daedalus & Fury Shoals, Deep South St. John’s, Elba and Sataya. These routes serve different divers. Northern wreck-and-reef weeks can suit qualified guests building liveaboard experience, while Brothers, Daedalus, Elphinstone and remote Elba departures demand stronger current skills, reliable DSMB deployment and the certification stated on the dated trip.

The representative North & Brothers departure combines Safaga reefs, the two Brothers Islands and the northern wreck corridor, including possibilities such as SS Thistlegorm and Giannis D, with Ras Mohammed used when navigation and permissions allow. A published July 2026 programme requires Advanced Open Water or equivalent plus at least 20 logged dives, plans around 16 dives and describes three to four entries on active days.

At Brothers, exposed walls, deeper wrecks and moving water can bring thresher sharks, hammerheads, grey reef sharks, tuna and other pelagics, but the sites are not a wildlife show. The northern sector shifts the emphasis toward history and structure: cargo holds, locomotives and wartime vehicles on Thistlegorm; the angled hull and engine spaces of Giannis D; and coral-rich reef corners around Ras Mohammed. Wreck penetration is undertaken only within training, guide plan, gas and conditions.

Nitrox and the two Zodiacs support the operational programme, but the base page does not confirm that Nitrox is free on every departure. Equipment rental, 15-litre cylinders, training and private guiding must also be checked on the dated offer. With 36 possible guests, team division matters: customers should know their guide group, tender, maximum depth, pickup signal and lost-buddy procedure before every entry rather than following another group’s plan.
