Boat

Bajau is a beautifully crafted traditional wooden yacht built with sustainability and guest comfort at its heart. Constructed from sturdy ironwood and teak, this vessel is designed to blend classic Indonesian seafaring aesthetics with practical, eco-focused cruising. With a length of 27.7 m and a beam of 6.0 m, Bajau offers ample space for relaxation, socialising and exploration aboard a conscientious and quiet ship.

Bajau runs primarily on solar-powered electricity, reducing generator use, lowering noise, and enhancing the tranquil ambience when anchored. The open living concept on the main and upper decks provides panoramic views and generous communal areas for dining, lounging, sunbathing, yoga or sunset drinks. The layout is tailored to encourage connection with nature and the surrounding seascapes.

Bajau typically cruises at around 8 knots, balancing smooth sailing with efficient passage between Indonesia’s top cruising grounds. Guests enjoy meals prepared daily using fresh, locally sourced ingredients, with a fusion of Indonesian and international flavours served to the table.

Bajau features a large, purpose-designed dive room with ample space for gear, camera equipment, and post-dive relaxation.

With a professional crew, including experienced hosts and support staff, life aboard Bajau is both comfortable and enriching.

Cabin

Bajau has 4 guest cabins accommodating 8 – 10 guests comfortably:

All cabins are well-insulated and naturally ventilated, with ceiling fans, eliminating the need for air conditioning. Each cabin features its own ensuite bathroom and thoughtful storage and lighting.

2 Double Cabins :
Located on the main deck, each cabin features a double bed plus an upper bunk, large sea-view windows, perfect for couples or a small family share.

2 Twin Cabins :
Located on the main deck, these cabins are fitted with two bunk beds, large sea-view windows, ideal for friends or solo travellers.

Diving

• Scuba diving is available on private charter ONLY.
• Usually no more than 2 dives per day in small group.
• No dive provided on the day of arrival and departure.
• All diving will provide experienced guide to lead the dive.
• Snorkeling gear, kayak, SUPs, Yoga mat available for use.
