Spirit of Maldives is a newly built 40-metre liveaboard thoughtfully designed for comfort, style, and unforgettable diving adventures. With a beam of approximately 13 m and a cruising speed of 10–12 knots, the vessel blends stability with relaxed travel between dive sites.

Spirit of Maldives features modern navigation and safety equipment, including GPS chart plotter, VHF/CB radio and satellite phone connectivity. Power systems include dual Emrak Perkins generators, and the vessel carries ample fresh water and fuel for extended journeys across remote atolls.

Onboard spaces are crafted for both relaxation and socialising. The spacious salon offers panoramic views and comfortable seating, while the sun deck and jacuzzi provide perfect spots for unwinding between dives. A dedicated camera station and entertainment area cater to underwater photographers and leisure alike.

Spirit of Maldives offers an elevated culinary experience with à la carte meals and gourmet options prepared by skilled chefs, using a mix of local ingredients and international flavours. Meals are served with attention to dietary preferences when informed in advance, creating a welcoming dining atmosphere.

Diving activities are supported by a separate dive dhoni and professional dive crew, ensuring safe and efficient access to prime dive sites across the Maldives. Additional amenities include air-conditioned lounges, Wi-Fi connectivity, and outdoor relaxation areas.

Cabin

Spirit of Maldives has 13 well-appointed guest cabins accommodating up to 26 guests with modern comfort and style:

All cabins feature air-conditioning, en-suite bathrooms, storage, and thoughtfully designed interiors for a comfortable stay.

The most common standard for power outlets is the British system. UK 3 pin electrical sockets using 220 volts AC 50Hz. Electricity onboard: Universal Sockets 220V

Located on the upper deck, 19sqm in size, each cabin comes with a double bed and a single bed, large seaview windows.

Located on the upper deck, 18sqm in size, each cabin with a double bed and a single bed, large seaview windows.

Diving

• 17 dives per week (1 night dive is included per week).
• No dive on the embarkation and disembarkation day.
• Only 1 - 2 dives will be provided on the last diving day.

A one way domestic flight to or from either Kooddoo or Gan is required for this trip, flights are with Maldivian Aero.

Discover the southernmost realms of the Maldives as we venture into the Equatorial zone, where Huvadhoo Atoll, Fuvahmulah Atoll, and Addu Atoll await. Crossing the Equator, it's customary to pay homage to Neptune, marking the transition with reverence. Despite their southern location, these atolls are well-connected to the capital, Male, just 300 miles to the north and this itinerary requires a 60-minute return domestic flight to/from Kooddoo and Gan airports.

Rest assured, we know this area well and can show you some wonderful shark and manta points. On a visit to this remote area you'll find yourself immersed in a world untouched by the crowds, with only your diving buddy for company.

This itinerary involves a 50 minute one-way flight from either Male to Hanimandhoo or Hanimandhoo to Male. Whichever route you choose, whether northbound or southbound on the Spirit of Maldives, our Far North trips epitomize the spirit of adventure, promising an unforgettable journey off the beaten path.

Our 10+ night Heart of the Maldives adventure offers more flexibility in routing, and we like to go a bit further afield as we have more time to dive & explore. If the conditions allow, a Heart of the Maldives Itinerary may also include Baa Atoll where, from May to October there is the amazing opportunity to snorkel in the UNESCO Hanifaru lagoon where mantas and whalesharks can be found in huge numbers.
