Boat

Ariyal is a spacious liveaboard vessel purpose‑built for exploring the Maldives’ vibrant reefs and marine life. With a length of 45 m and a beam of 10 m, this three‑deck yacht provides generous onboard space for diving, relaxation, and socialising.

The interior combines modern comfort with practical design, featuring a comfortable salon and entertainment area where guests can unwind after diving or water sports. The salon is equipped with a 75” smart TV, PlayStation 5, board games, Wi‑Fi, and portable audio speakers, creating a welcoming space to socialise or relax between excursions.

Ariyal’s decks are designed to maximise your Maldives experience. The second deck features a freshwater jacuzzi, perfect for relaxing with panoramic ocean views. Outdoor deck space offers sun loungers and shaded areas for soaking up the tropical climate.

Onboard dining presents a variety of delicious dishes served in a relaxed setting, combining local Maldivian flavours with international cuisine. Full‑board meals are included, and special dietary needs can be accommodated with advance notice.

Water activities extend beyond diving, with equipment for paddleboarding, wakeboarding, water skiing, and jet skiing available, plus options for fishing and beach barbecues during shore visits.

Ariyal has 13 well‑appointed cabins, accommodating up to 26 guests per cruise:

All cabins are air‑conditioned and feature ensuite bathrooms with hot showers and modern amenities.

4 Sea View Suites:
Located on the upper deck, with king‑size bed and sofa, large seaview windows.

2 Sea View Suites:
Located on the main deck, each cabin comes with a King‑size double, panoramic oceanview windows.

7 Deluxe Cabins:
Located on the lower deck, each cabin comes with two single beds side by side, portholes.


Diving

Deep South : Male to Gan

This Maldives diving trip offers an exciting schedule of three to four dives per day over 7 days. The route includes a variety of dive sites, from the shallow coral plateaus of Rasfari Corner to the thrilling drift dives at Kandooma Thila and encounters with manta rays at Lankan Beyru. Guests will also explore wrecks, such as the Kudhimaa Wreck, and may have the opportunity to see iconic species like whale sharks at Maamigili Beyru. The schedule includes plenty of downtime for meals, rest, and socializing with fellow divers. Day 8 will conclude the journey with a transfer to the airport, following a final morning breakfast and check-out.


Deep South : Gan to Male

Set off on an exciting diving journey from Deep South Gan to Male, discovering the Maldives’ extraordinary underwater world. This route takes you through picturesque reefs, abundant marine life, and some of the best dive locations, offering a perfect blend of adventure and relaxation.


Deep South Gan to Koodoo / Koodoo Gan

This 7-day diving itinerary offers an incredible journey through the Maldives, with three to four dives per day, providing guests with the opportunity to explore the vibrant marine life, coral reefs, and exciting underwater topography of the region. Starting with a welcome aboard the vessel, guests will enjoy daily dive briefings, followed by dives that range from shallow reefs to deeper pinnacles, encountering species such as manta rays, whale sharks, grey reef sharks, and a variety of colorful fish. The schedule includes ample time for meals, rest, and socializing, with each day ending with delicious dinners and relaxation. The trip concludes on Day 8 with check-out and transfers to the airport. Best time for diving
December to April, Central Maldives is suitable for diving year-round, these months are the Northeast dry season, and it's the time for best visibility and weather condition.
The visibility range between 20 - 40 meters year-round. And the currents are usually mild to intermediate. Diving depth range from 10 - 40 meters.

About temperatures
Air : range between 27°C - 32°C year-round.
Sea : very stable and warm, range from 28°C - 30°C year-round.

Wetsuit Recommendation
We recommend a dive Skin or 3 mm wetsuit throughout the year.

Diver requirement
Suitable for all levels, but to enjoy the best out of it, we recommend an AOW level with 30 dives.

North Maldives

Best time for diving
June to November, North Maldives offers great diving all year, especially in the Far North Atolls, you can expect sunny skies most of the year. And in Hanifaru Bay, each year during June to November is the famous cyclone feeding, which is a rare and spectacular event where over 100 manta rays can feed together and create a chain which the head of each manta ray touches the tail of the manta in front. This creates a huge spiral of up to 200 mantas along with their fellow plankton feeders the Whale Shark.

Sea : very stable and warm, range from 27°C - 29°C year-round.

Wetsuit Recommendation
We recommend a dive Skin or 3 mm wetsuit throughout the year.

Diver requirement

December to April offers the best visibility and sea conditions. Although short spells of heavy rainfall can be experienced during the summer months, but this region do offer good diving all year round.

Sea : very stable and warm, range from 27°C - 29°C year-round.

Wetsuit Recommendation
We recommend a dive Skin or 3 mm wetsuit throughout the year.

Diver requirement
Suitable for divers have AOW level with good drift diving experience, as there can be strong currents in the channels surrounding the islands.

For the Deep South Atolls (Laamu atoll, Gaafu Alifu atoll, Huvadhoo atoll, Fuvahmulah, Addu atoll), domestic flights are usually required to Addu atoll (GAN), Gaafu Alifu atoll (GKK), Huvadhoo atoll (KDM) or Fuvahmulah (FVM). Longer trips like 2 weeks might depart or return to Male.
