Boat
Thailand Aggressor is a 35 metres long and 7 meters wide professional dive yacht, Like all Aggressor Fleet's yacht, it wasbuilt to U.S. Coast Guard and A.B.S. standards with a full complement of safety equipment. It cruises at 9 knots and has 220-volt/50 hz power onboard.
Thailand Aggressor has a beautiful spacious salon, large sun deck with shading, Jacuzzi hot tub, chaise lounges and deck chairs, bar, grill and a complete photo/video center. The onboard video format is both NTSC and PAL.
The chefs onboard will offer guests delicious meals in various styles of American feasts, barbecues and local cuisine. From appetizer to dessert all with love. If you have any special dietary requirements, please let our booking agents know, so we can put an note for you.
Onboard beverages selection includes fruit juices, soft drinks, iced water, iced tea, coffee, and a limited selection of local beer and wine, which are complimentary. Due to the high duty charged on liquor, we suggest you bring your special brand from the last duty free point. Once you consume alcohol, you become a snorkeler until the next day.
Thailand Aggressor's dive deck is spacious and well equipped with personal gear lockers and in place fill station. A camera table and a rinse tank are conveniently located for washing dive equipment and camera. The aft of the dive deck is equipped with two ladders exit, fin storage and two freshwater showers.
Cabin
Thailand Aggressor has 8 spacious guest staterooms, accommodating up to 16 guests per trip:
All cabins have ensuite bathroom with hair dryer, mirrored cabinet, wardrobe, independent air conditioning, volume controls, and monitor with media player.
1 Master Stateroom (# 1):
Located on the lower deck, it's the largest cabin onboard, this cabin comes with a queen bed, portlight views.
2 Master Staterooms (# 2, 3):
Located on the main deck, each cabin comes with a queen bed, seaview windows.
5 Deluxe Staterooms (# 4, 5, 6, 7, 8):
Located on the main deck, each cabin comes with 2 single beds side by side that can be made into a queen bed (upon request), seaview window.
Diving
- 4 to 5 dives per day, depends on the itinerary/condition.
- No dive on the embarkation and disembarkation day.
- Only 1 - 2 dives will be provided on the last diving day.

Itineraries
Important Note
The Thailand Aggressor® offers two itineraries; the North Andaman Sea and the South Andaman Sea. The north itinerary departs from Andaman Sun Sea Travel Pier and the south itinerary from Visit Panwa Pier. Both are located about 1 - 1 1/2 hours from the Phuket International Airport (HKT) on the mainland. It is easily accessible from Phuket Island by road transport. All charters run Saturday to Saturday.
Diving begins Sunday morning and ends Friday when the Aggressor returns to port. Featuring up to 24 dives and one island visit on 7-night charters, including day and night dives.
North Andaman Sea

Arrival/Boarding/Departure
There are two itineraries, north Andaman Sea and south Andaman Sea itineraries that operate from two different locations. Be sure you know which one you will depart from.
For Transfers from Phuket International Airport (HKT): For international flights, guests will be met and picked up at the international arrival area between 4:00-5:00 pm on the charter start day. For domestic flights, guests will be met and picked up at the domestic arrival area between 4:00-5:00 pm on the charter start date. For guests who have arrived early and want to be transferred to the yacht on the charter start day, please meet at the Chair Café at 127 1 Sakhu, Thalang District, Phuket 83110, Thailand between 4:00-5:00 pm.
For Transfers from Host hotels: Kantary Beach Hotel and Villas and Khao Lak Palm Beach Resort (North Itinerary) 4:00-5:00 pm for transfer to Andaman Sun Sea Travel Pier. Westin Siray Bay Resort & Spa (South Itenerary) 6:00-7:00 pm for transfer to Visit Panwa Pier.
Andaman Sun Sea Travel Pier (North Itinerary) Guests arriving at the Phuket (HKT) International Airport on the day of the charter and the host hotels will be met at the above times by a Thailand Aggressor representative. If you are already on island, you may make your own way to the Thailand Aggressor, docked at Andaman Sun Sea Travel Pier for a 6 pm boarding or, you may meet at one of the above pick up points.
Visit Panwa Pier (South Itinerary) Guests arriving at the Phuket (HKT) International Airport on the day of the charter and the host hotels will be met at the above times by a Thailand Aggressor representative. For guests wanting to arrive early or stay later, please reach out to our Detours Travel Department for information.
Docking
The Thailand Aggressor departs from either the Visit Panwa Pier, which is located in the southern part of Phuket, or the Andaman Sun Sea Travel Pier in Thap Lamu, which is located 1 1/2 hours north from the Phuket International Airport (HKT) and just south of Khao Lak, a beautiful hilly mountainous region and tourist area.
The yacht departs from all ports Saturday evening for its first night anchorage to prepare for diving the next morning. The yacht will arrive back to all piers Friday afternoon/early evening. The crew will host a cocktail party then dinner will be served onboard.

South Andaman Sea
Best time for diving
Mid October - May is the optimum diving season on the Andaman coast (west coast). Thailand has a dry and a rainy season : it rains on the West coast during the Summer months (May- October) and on the East during the winter (October- May).
About temperatures
Air : throughout the year, temperatures range from 25°C to 34°C with April through May being the hottest month and January the coldest
Sea : between 27°C - 30°C year round, with May being the warmest and December being the coldest.
Wetsuit Recommendation
We recommend 3 mm wetsuit year round.
Diver requirement

The embarkation and disembarkation are in Phuket or Khao Lak, guest can fly in/out Phuket International Airport (HKT).

Transfer between Phuket Airport and Chalong Pier is approximately 1 ½hrs, depending on traffic.

Money Matters
The local currency is Thai Baht (THB). The majority of established hotels and restaurants accept major credit cards.
However, smaller, family-run places probably will not. There are money-changers and ATM machines located at the airport and at the ports.
Drones
Tourists can bring their drones into Thailand. However, they are not allowed to fly their drones here until they have registered their devices with the Civil Aviation Authority of Thailand (CAAT).

Similan Islands
Best time for diving
Mid-October - May is the optimum diving season on the Andaman coast (west coast). From early December until late April you can usually expect clear skies nearly every day. On average, you can expect 20 meters of visibility at The Similan Islands throughout the diving season.
Due to the likelihood of extreme weather during the monsoon months, the local authorities close the marine parks from May 16th until October 14th every year. Therefore the Similan diving season is from October 15th to May 15th.
About temperatures
Air: throughout the year, temperatures range from 25°C to 34°C with April through May being the hottest month and January the coldest
Sea: between 27°C - 29°C all year round, there are times when it drops to the mid or even low 20s, but in general these are rare or temporary occasions.
Wetsuit Recommendation
We recommend a 3 mm wetsuit year-round.
