Visibility typically ranges between 15 – 30 meters, and currents are usually mild, especially in Coron, while Apo Reef can experience moderate currents.
About temperatures
Air: generally ranges between 26°C – 32°C year-round.
Sea: warm throughout the year, usually between 26°C – 29°C.
Wetsuit Recommendation
A 3 mm wetsuit is recommended year-round. Some divers may prefer a shorty during the warmer months.
Diver requirement
Suitable for all levels in Coron, especially for wreck diving with calm conditions and shallow depths. Apo Reef is better suited for Advanced Open Water due to depth and currents. You can find out more information about diving in this area here: Coron & Apo Reef
