The stay went well—great weather, plenty of sun, and no rain.
The diving was nice, with fairly frequent shark sightings and a few eagle rays (which I managed to miss every single time :), but the visibility was only average. The water was $29°C$, and the coral did not like that at all; there was quite a bit of bleaching.
The Blue Hole is cool, but not necessarily impressive; I prefer the one in the Bahamas where there is more sea life.
As for the boat, it was nice—not exactly brand new, but they’ve touched it up with some fresh paint. The meals and the crew were excellent, as always.
We went on an excursion to a reserve after the Blue Hole; it was a nice change of pace. I also personally visited the Maya ruins, which was a very cool thing to do on Friday afternoon.
