Boat

Ari Queen is a 33-meter custom-built diving vessel that offers an affordable and comfortable liveaboard experience in the Maldives. Built in 2008 and refitted in 2021, it is designed to balance convenience and adventure, catering primarily to divers seeking sightings of whale sharks, manta rays, and reef sharks across the central atolls.

Ari Queen's main deck serves as the primary social and dining hub of the vessel. It includes a large, air-conditioned space where three buffet-style meals are served daily. It is equipped with a comfortable seating area, a wide flat-screen TV, and a DVD player for entertainment. A dedicated area offering coffee, tea, and snacks throughout the day. A bar area within the saloon that serves various beverages.

And there is a shaded diving deck (often used for briefings) and a rear platform for easy access to the water or the dive dhoni. Also a specialized area for underwater photographers to charge and maintain their gear.

Ari Queen also has a spacious bar area located toward the rear on the upper deck, serving a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages. It is a popular spot for "sundowners" while cruising. And a shaded outdoor seating area situated in front of the bridge, equipped with tables, chairs, and cushioned loungers.

From the upper deck, two staircases lead up to the partially shaded 120sqm sundeck, which is the highest point on the boat for sunbathing and 360-degree views.

In addition, all diving is done from the dive dhoni boat, which provide comfort and function at the same time. All the equipment stay in the dive dhoni (compressors, tanks etc.) in order to keep the noise away from the main boat when filling the tanks.

Cabin

Ari Queen has 12 guest cabins, accommodating up to 24 guests per trip:

All cabins are air-conditioned and equipped with ensuite bathroom/shower, wardrobe and storage.

2 Suite Cabins：
Located at the upper deck, each cabin comes with one double bed or two single beds side by side, 32” flat-screen TV, mini-bar, seaview windows.

2 Deluxe Cabins：
Located at the main deck, each cabin comes with one double bed, 32” flat-screen TV, mini-bar, seaview windows.

6 Standard Cabins：
Located at the lower deck, each cabin comes with one double bed and one single bed (in bunk style), portholes.

2 Standard Cabins：
Located at the lower deck, each cabin comes with two single beds (in bunk style), portholes.

Diving

• Typically up to 3 dives per day, depending on itinerary.
• No dive on the embarkation and disembarkation day.
• Only 1 - 2 dives will be provided on the last diving day.
• All diving will provide experienced guide to lead the dive.

Best of Maldives

The “Best of Maldives” itinerary offers a diverse diving experience through some of the most renowned sites in the Maldives. Hundreds of sharks guaranteed ! Divers can encounter species such as tiger sharks at Neau Bathi, manta rays at Moofushi Manta Point, and whale sharks at Redisson Corner. Sites like Fish Head and Kuda Rah Thila are famous for their strong currents and abundant marine life, making them ideal for experienced divers. This itinerary includes unique features like night dives at Fesdu Lagoon to see manta rays, and snorkeling with nurse sharks at Alimatha Jetty.

To ensure the safety of guests, navigation in the Maldives is strictly prohibited after sunset. If guests arrive in the afternoon, the boat will commence navigation only on Sunday. For those wishing to start scuba diving on Saturday, it is necessary to arrive by 11:00 AM or earlier and be ready for the meetup at 11:00 AM at the main Hulhumalé pier.

Island BBQs are not guaranteed and are only possible at specific locations. In the event of tropical rain, the BBQ will be substituted with a dinner on the boat, and no compensation will be provided.
