Boat
Wisesa is a traditional Phinisi boat operated by a family from France. Measuring 30 meters long and 5.6 meters wide, with cruising speed at 7 knots, it was built in 2015/2016, a mix between modern comfort and charm of a wooden boat, perfect for dive or snorkeling cruises adventures.
Wisesa offering customized cruises, very comfortable with high quality service on board ! Perfect for the one who like a personally ambience! There is one cozy lounge area where you can realx between the activites, or on the sundeck where you can enjoy getting tan with a view.
The chef on board is a master in his art ! He worked in many restaurants in Indonesia before joining Wisesa Crew ! He work with love, and love to surprise our customers. You will get 3 hot meals a day plus snacks, Tea and coffee at any time. Usually for the Lunch our Chef prepare a buffet of Indonesian asian food, healthy raw vegetables and salads. The Diner is time for him to prepare surprising Menu. Western, Asian fusion, Indonesian, or Italian food… Everyday different and always delicious !
Wisesa also have 2 canoes kayaks, 2 inflatable Stand-up-paddle and lot of fishing & snorkeling gears for guests to use free of charge during the cruise. There are 10 full set dive equipment for rent as well.
Cabin
Wisesa consists of 4 well decorated guest cabins for 6 - 8 guests only :
All cabins are equipped with air conditioning, charging station and storage area.
Cabin1 - Lombok:
Located on the lower deck (main deck), is equipped with 1 double bed(140cm x 200cm), an office corner, and a bathroom shared with Cabin2-Bali, seaview window.
Cabin2 - Bali:
Located on the lower deck (main deck), this cabin comes with a double bed(140cm x 200cm), bathroom shared with Cabin1 - Lombok, seaview window.
Cabin3 - Flores :
Located on the lower deck (main deck), this is a honeymoon cabin comes with a double bed(140cm x 200cm), and its own private bathroom, portholes.
Cabin4 - Papua :
Located on the lower deck (main deck), this cabin is the largest onboard, very nice for families or friends to sahre, comes with a double bed(160cm x 200cm) and two bunk beds (90cm x 200cm), an office&sofe corner and its own private bathroom,portholes.
Diving
- No dive on the embarkation and disembarkation day.
- Only 1 - 2 dives will be provided on the last diving day.
- All diving will provide experienced guide to lead the dive.
- 3 - 4 guided snorkelling will be provided daily free of charge.

Raja Ampat - Dive Cruise

During the entire cruise Wisesa’s route will bring you in all the most exciting dive spots in Central, North or South Raja Ampat, Cape Kri, Mioskon, Mike’s Point, Blue Magic, Sardine Reef, the passage, Chicken Reef, Hidden Bay, Manta Sandy, Eagle Rock, Aljui, & much more ….
We will explore the Dampier straight, and also Pianemo, Arborek, Aljui & Fam islands, until the Gem Wayag for central North, we can also go deep south & explore the amazing Misool, our crew will choose the route at the last moment regarding weather and visibility conditions to ensure that you get an unforgettable experience on board WISESA.

This Surf boat trip start in Sumba island in Waikelo and finish in Timor in Kupang, or inverse. We will cruise along the wild south coast of Sumba, which is a succession of bays, points, and long reef, many waves almost all inaccessible by land. After enjoying great Surf in Sumba we will reach the small islands of Savu & Raijua where we will find few very nice waves and also a long left reef break barreling, a real Gem ! After that we will reach the island of Rote, where we can Surf secrets and known spots such T-Land in Nembrala, and Boa’s. A boat Trip between Sumba & Savu, Timor is a dream for each Surfer. Surfing Cruise - North Maluku

This surf charter start from Tobelo city in North Maluku, after your flight from Bali, we will pick you up in Tobelo airport, and Transfer you on board Wisesa. The cruise start immediately, and we will have the opportunity to Surf the first day as we found few interesting nice waves on the few islands next to Tobelo, perfect for a warming up. Then, our surf guide will choose Wisesa’s route regarding wind condition, swell orientation & size. We have plenty of options, going East to the Buli’s islands, or Halmahera west coast or North Morotaï. We will Surf many different waves, Right & Left, many secrets, and also the famous one such Serenade, Indojiwa, etc…

Useful information
Raja Ampat
Best time for diving
Mid October to April, the wind then picks up in May until the end of August, causing rougher seas and this means Misool area in the south will be shut from June to September. From July until September the diving in the north still can be enjoyable. The visibility can vary from 10 - 30 meters, current can be from mild to strong at times.
About temperatures
Air : fairly constant between 25°C - 31°C year-round.
Sea : it is warm all year round, about 27°C - 31°C
Wetsuit Recommendation
We recommend a 3 mm full wetsuit throughout the year.
Diver requirement

Embarkation / Disembarkation
Most of the embarkation / disembarkation will be in Sorong (SOQ).
Few liveaboards also departs from Waisai (RJM).
The easiest to fly through to & from Sorong (SOQ) via Jakarta (CGK), Makassar (UPG), Bali (DPS), or Manado (MDC).
Visa Requirements
Indonesia offers a free visa on arrival service for many nationalities which allows visitors to stay in the country for up to 30 days. A list of countries that are eligible for visa on arrival can be found on the Indonesian Government's Directorate General of Immigration.
Please note: Immigration officials in Indonesia may ask for proof of onward travel (e.g. a return or onward air ticket).
Vaccinations
Yellow fever vaccination certificate is required for travellers over the age of 9 months arriving from countries with risk of yellow fever transmission.
Money Matters
The local currency is Indonesian Rupiah (IDR), all liveaboards accept cash payments in USD.
Rupiah can be purchased from all major banks and exchange outlets. Credit and debit cards are also accepted in major hotels, restaurants & shops.

Halmahera
Best time for diving
October to November and March to May, Halmahera can be dived all year round, but due to the monsoon season, from June to September it can be windy and the sea can be rough. And from December to February is considered as the rainy season.
Visibility is usually very good, ranging from 20-30 meters, Inside the bays the visibility may be less. Currents can be strong in the straits, weak in the areas protected by the islands.

Air : generally ranges between 25°C - 32°C year-round.
Sea : it is warm all year round, about 27°C - 31°C
Wetsuit Recommendation
We recommend a 3 mm full wetsuit throughout the year.
Diver requirement

Depending on which itinerary you choose, the embarkation / disembarkation can be in Bitung > Manado (MDC), Ternate (TTE), Bacan (LAH/WUB), or Morotai (OTI). The international airport with the best connections is Jakarta (CGK). You can also route through Bali (DPS) if you prefer.
However, some liveaboard trips will combine Halmahera with other destinations like Sulawesi (Lembeh), Raja Ampat, then the embarkation and disembarkation will be different. So please ask our agent to know the exact port for your trip.

Banda Sea
Best time for diving
October to November & March to April, the seas are generally calmer during these months and in October to November there is higher chance to see hammerhead sharks. From May to August the surface conditions can get quite rough.
The visibility is generally good to excellent in Banda Sea areas, except in Ambon bay and in other bays for critter dives. Currents are low to moderate on most of the sites, however, strong currents may occur at times.

Air : range between 25°C - 31°C year-round.
Sea : range between 26°C - 29°C year-round.
Wetsuit Recommendation
We recommend a 3 - 5 mm full wetsuit throughout the year.
Diver requirement
