Description

Bahamas Aggressor II is a deluxe dive yacht by Aggressor Fleet, offering scuba diving trips all around Bahamas according to the seasons, accommodating 20 guests.

Boat

Bahamas Aggressor II is a 36.5 metres long and 7.6 meters wide professional steel dive yacht. It is built and maintained to the specifications of the local regulatory agencies and the regulations of the country of the flag. Built and powered for comfort, safety and stability, she is diesel-powered, cruises at 12 knots and has 110-volt power onboard.

Bahamas Aggressor II features a roomy, air conditioned salon on the main deck with lounge sofa, media system, a small library of books, diving/fish identification presentations, movies, games and more. Plus a complete photo center with a digital video and still photo editing computer.

On board, there is also an independent dining area on the upper deck. The menu onboard is varied and plentiful, with a variety of American feasts, barbecues and local cuisine. From appetizer to dessert all with love. If you have any special dietary requirements, please let our booking agents know, so we can put an note for you.

Bahamas Aggressor II's beverages selection includes fruit juices, soft drinks, iced water, iced tea, coffee, and a limited selection of local beer and wine, which are complimentary. Due to the high duty charged on liquor, we suggest you bring your special brand from the U.S. or last duty free point. Due to local regulations, the bar will be closed while the boat is in port. Drinking and diving do not mix. Once you consume alcohol, you become a snorkeler until the next day.

The sundeck complete with a hot tub (Jacuzzi), lounge and deck chairs, stereo and CD player (has an IPod plug-in), shaded wet bar and grill.

Diving amenities include Nitrox, individual dive lockers, camera table with low-pressure air hoses, and two hot, fresh water showers. There is ample storage space for your diving equipment in your personal locker. The stern and platform area is very spacious. The boarding ladders were designed for convenience to allow divers easy entries and exits.


Cabin

Bahamas Aggressor II has 10 guest cabins and it can welcome up to 20 guests :

All staterooms have ensuite bathrooms with shower, closet, porthole, hairdryers and individual AC climate control.

2 Balcony Suites (#9, 10) :
Located on the main deck, each suite comes with two twin beds side by side or a kingsize double bed, an pravite balcony for the seaview and fresh air.

5 Deluxe Staterooms (#3, 5, 6, 7, 8):
Located on the lower deck, each cabin comes with two twin beds side by side or a kingsize double bed, portholes.

3 Twin Staterooms (#1, 2, 4) :
Located on the lower deck, each cabin comes with two side by side single beds. Cabin #1 and #2 do not have portholes.


Diving

  • 4 to 5 dives per day, depends on the itinerary/condition.

Itineraries

Exuma Cays

Departure / Return: Nassau, Bahamas (Bay Street Marina, “F Dock”) — embark Saturday afternoon, disembark following Saturday morning.

Dive Style: Up to 5 dives/day from yacht (including some night dives), dramatic coral walls, wrecks, blue holes, pelagic action. Depths ~35–130 ft/11–40 m.

Sample Itinerary:

Day 1:
Board from Nassau between ~4–6 pm. Briefing, orientation, and welcome dinner. Depart by ~6 pm.

Day 2 – Lost Blue Hole & Periwinkle Reef:
Discover the legendary Lost Blue Hole (stingrays, schooling fish), then Periwinkle Reef for macro and reef life.

Day 3 – Exuma Cays Reefs:
Dives at amberjack and blacktip walls; explore diverse coral gardens and abundant fish life.

Day 4 – Austin Smith Wreck & Drift Sites:
Visit the Austin Smith wreck for artificial‑reef action and enjoy thrilling drift dives where currents bring pelagics.

Day 5 – Cathedral / Pillar Wall:
Dive dramatic vertical walls with abundant sponges, turtles, and schooling fish; strong photographic opportunities.

Day 6 – Jeep Reef & Barracuda Shoals:
Vibrant coral formations and large schools of jacks; ideal for both wide angle and macro photography.

Day 7 – Additional Reefs & Eleuthera Drifts:
More dives highlighting coral pinnacles and swim‑throughs in southwest Eleuthera waters.

Day 8:
Breakfast onboard; check‑out at 8 am and assist with transfers to airport or hotel.


Tiger Beach

Departure / Return: Freeport, Grand Bahama Island (Old Bahama Bay Resort) — embark Saturday afternoon, disembark following Saturday morning.

Dive Style: Up to ~5 dives/day (no night dives), spectacular shark encounters and reef exploration around West End & Tiger Beach. Depths ~25–130 ft/8–40 m.

Sample Itinerary:

Day 1: Arrive Freeport
Board ~4–6 pm. Orientation and welcome dinner, depart ~6 pm.

Day 2 – Tiger Beach:
First full day at Tiger Beach — shallow white sand dives with frequent tiger sharks, lemon sharks, and Caribbean reef sharks in clear water.

Day 3 – Shark Paradise & Hogfish Reef:
Shallow coral gardens at Hogfish Reef; deeper Shark Paradise for sharks and large reef fish.

Day 4 – Mini Wall & Mount Olympus:
Vertical coral walls and pinnacles teeming with eagle rays, turtles, groupers, and reef sharks.

Day 5 – Fish Tales & Surrounding Reefs:
Sites like Fish Tales offer dramatic coral scenery and vibrant reef ecosystems.

Day 6 – Wreck & Reef Mix:
Explore local wrecks such as Sugar Wreck and nearby reef sites where additional shark species and schooling fish gather.

Day 7 – Additional Tiger Beach Sessions:
Return to Tiger Beach zone for more action with tiger sharks and reef life before heading back toward Freeport.

Day 8: Check out

Useful information

Exuma Cays

Best time for diving
December - April for the most shark actions. You can dive year round in the Exumas, the water is very warm and settled throughout the year. However, diving conditions could be susceptible to weather during the hurricane season which runs from June to November. The visibility is usually between 20m to 50m. Most areas will have Shark Feeding dives available and most liveaboards will do at least one in the week.

A famous event - “The March of the Spiny Lobster” happens between late Oct until mid Nov near the Andros. The lobsters are usually found solitary on the reef like the groupers but gather in huge numbers. As a diver you can get very close and they will even march over you if you lie down in their way.

About temperatures
Air : winter months are between 18°C - 27°C, summer months are between 24°C - 33°C.
Sea : winter months are between 24°C - 27°C, summer months are between 28°C - 30°C.

Wetsuit Recommendation
In the winter months, a 3 - 5 mm wetsuit is recommended. In summer months a skin or 3 mm shorty is recommended. Please consider in the Exumas area, you will have the opportunity to dive as many as 5 times a day on most of the liveaboards.

Embarkation / Disembarkation
Both embarkation and disembarkation are in Nassau, Bahamas. Guests need to fly to/from Nassau’s Lynden Pindling International Airport (NAS).

Vaccinations
A yellow fever vaccination certificate is required from traveller arriving from countries with risk of yellow fever transmission. the same is required for traveller having transited more than 12 hours through the airport of a country with risk of yellow fever transmission. Money Matters
The local currency is the Bahamian Dollar (BSD), but USD is also readily used. Cards are used throughout most of the country, especially in the tourist areas, although on some of the smaller outer islands only cash is accepted for purchases. ATMs are readily available in any major town.

Tiger Beach

Best time for diving
October - May, as there is a greater likelihood of great hammerheads, bull sharks. But tiger sharks, lemon sharks, nurse shars and Caribbean reef sharks are seen at Tiger Beach year-round. The visibility can be great at times with 60 meters clarity, current is usually mild tidal flow.

About temperatures
Air : winter months are between 18°C - 27°C, summer months are between 24°C - 33°C.
Sea : winter months are between 23°C - 26°C, summer months are between 28°C - 29°C.

Wetsuit Recommendation
Divers are required to wear a full-length wetsuit (3mm for summer months, 5mm for winter months) as well as a hood, gloves, and dive socks (to cover ankles). Dive equipment must be dark in color, no white or yellow dive gear (Yellow second-stage hoses are permitted and are not a problem).

Diver requirement

Embarkation / Disembarkation
The embarkation and disembarkation for most liveaboards are in Nassau, Bahamas. Guests need to fly to/from Nassau’s Lynden Pindling International Airport (NAS).

For liveaboards are departing from Florida, USA. Guests may fly to/from Palm Beach International Airport (PBI).

Les epaves sont bien sympa, LE RMS Rhone est top. Les autres épaves de type projet d'art, bateau pirate ou avions transformé en requins sont amusantes Pas beaucoup de requins, mais avec la tempête pas étonnant. Le bateau est vraiment top, equipage toujours aussi bon, seul point pouvant être gênant, étant les zodiaques pas super pratiques, on n'étions que 6 par zoé, mais c était deja pas simple, alors au complet, a 10, j'imagine pas. Pour des plongeurs ages, c est un gros problème je pense.
