Boat

Anne Bonny is a beautifully hand-crafted Indonesian Phinisi yacht built for personalised exploration and comfort. At 30 m in overall length (23 m deck length) with a beam of approximately 6.5 m, this elegant sailing vessel blends traditional Sulawesi shipbuilding techniques with refined modern amenities.

Anne Bonny was built in Sulawesi in 2015 and fully renovated in 2022. Designed to feel like a private floating home, Anne Bonny features relaxed living spaces including open-air dining, a shaded lounge area, and comfortable sun deck seating — perfect for socialising or unwinding between dives. The yacht is equipped with Starlink Wi-Fi, audio-visual entertainment, generous freshwater storage and maker systems, and robust navigation and safety gear, ensuring a smooth, secure journey through Indonesia’s archipelagos.

With a cruising speed of around 8 knots propelled by reliable Yanmar engines, Anne Bonny offers both relaxed sailing and dependable access to dive sites and remote anchorages.

Anne Bonny have a dedicated dive deck with camera rinse station, a separate caribbean/ dhoni tender for quick water access, freshwater showers, and plenty of deck space for gear setup and leisure. Guests can also enjoy water sports gear such as kayaks, SUPs, snorkeling equipment, and a wakeboard.

Anne Bonny also has everything needed for diving and other water activities like freediving, kayaking or wakeboarding.


Cabin

Anne Bonny offers 3 air-conditioned guest cabins, accommodates up to 6 adults and 4 children or up to 9 guests who don’t mind sharing a cabin (triple occupancy).

All cabins come with ensuite bathrooms with hot showers, charging stations, ample storage and daily housekeeping, hairdryers and power adapters.

The layout is thoughtfully designed to maximise comfort while maintaining a cosy, inviting atmosphere throughout your voyage.

1 Master Cabin
This spacious cabin offers enough space for the whole family. Two bunk beds on the side can be used as couch or extra beds. It's elegant teak furnishing and Indonesia style decoration make this cozy setting perfect for a retreat after excitement during the day.

Raja Ampat | October to April

Anne Bonny currently offers two open-cruise options for those planning a sailing trip to Raja Ampat: an 12 days 11 nights journey through Central and South, including Misool, and an 9 days 8 nights voyage through Central and North to the iconic Wayag lagoons. Private charters from five nights allow guests to enjoy calm seas, thriving reefs, and the region’s dramatic limestone landscapes at their best.

In additon, Anne Bonny explores Raja Ampat through flexible charters starting from 7 nights, bringing you to calm lagoons, rich reefs, and dramatic limestone islands. Choose routes that cover Central, North, or South, including Misool and Wayag, for some of Indonesia’s most breathtaking seascapes.

Komodo | June to September

Open cruises of 6 days / 5 nights provide a relaxed style of adventure through the Komodo Islands, perfect for travellers who enjoy exploring at an easy pace. As a Komodo liveaboard, the yacht is also available for private charter from two nights, giving families and small groups flexibility. Guests wanting to venture farther can choose tailor-made Komodo–Sumbawa–Gili routes that blend quiet beaches, wildlife encounters, and calm turquoise bays.

It’s a seasonal itinerary that blends culture, clear waters, and some of Indonesia’s most memorable landscapes.

Useful information

Komodo

Best time for diving
May to October, the weather in Komodo is at its best between April and November. During the wet season (December to March) the weather can get a bit windy, with heavy quick rains, sometimes can cause rough surface conditions. However, liveaboards run trips here year-round.

The visibility in the North is excellent at 30 meters or even more, while it ranges between 10-15 meters in the South.
Some dive sites can have significant currents, whirlpools and see downdrafts. Sea conditions might change very quickly. Other dive sites are more quiet and rich in macro, especially in the South.

About temperatures
Air : range between 23°C - 32°C year-round.
Sea : in the North Komodo it can be around 26°C -29°C, while it gets colder towards the south where it can drop down to 22° C.

Wetsuit Recommendation
We recommend a 3 - 5 mm full wetsuit throughout the year for Komodo area.

Diver requirement
Intermediate to Advanced level, A good level in diving and some experience in drift diving are recommended to participate to Komodo cruise.

Embarkation / Disembarkation
Most of the embarkation / disembarkation will be in Labuan Bajo (LBJ).
Unless the trip is from Bali - Komodo, then the embarkation can be in Bali (DPS).

Indonesia offers a free visa on arrival service for many nationalities which allows visitors to stay in the country for up to 30 days. A list of countries that are eligible for visa on arrival can be found on the Indonesian Government's Directorate General of Immigration.

Yellow fever vaccination certificate is required for travellers over the age of 9 months arriving from countries with risk of yellow fever transmission.

Banda Sea

Best time for diving
October to November & March to April, the seas are generally calmer during these months and in October to November there is higher chance to see hammerhead sharks. From May to August the surface conditions can get quite rough.

The visibility is generally good to excellent in Banda Sea areas, except in Ambon bay and in other bays for critter dives. Currents are low to moderate on most of the sites, however, strong currents may occur at times.

About temperatures
Air : range between 25°C - 31°C year-round.
Sea : range between 26°C - 29°C year-round.

Wetsuit Recommendation
We recommend a 3 - 5 mm full wetsuit throughout the year.

Diver requirement

The embarkation / disembarkation can be in Ambon (AMQ), Kaimana (KNG), Maumere (MOF), Sorong (SOQ), Waisai (RJM), Saumalaki (SXK) etc. As some of the Banda Sea trip will combine with other destinations like Raja Ampat, Halmahera, Triton Bay. Raja Ampat

Best time for diving
Mid October to April, the wind then picks up in May until the end of August, causing rougher seas and this means Misool area in the south will be shut from June to September. From July until September the diving in the north still can be enjoyable. The visibility can vary from 10 - 30 meters, current can be from mild to strong at times.

About temperatures
Air : fairly constant between 25°C - 31°C year-round.
Sea : it is warm all year round, about 27°C - 31°C

Wetsuit Recommendation
We recommend a 3 mm full wetsuit throughout the year.

Diver requirement

Most of the embarkation / disembarkation will be in Sorong (SOQ).
Few liveaboards also departs from Waisai (RJM).

i truly recommend a fascinating trip on Mantra boat, sailing to undiscovered and wild places at raja ampat(papua new guinea), relaxing on the deck, charming and elegant rooms, exquisite food, the gentleness of indonesian staff and furnished of all the equipment for diving and snorkeling with a private dive master. it's a precious everlasting experience you cant miss!!
