Putri Naga welcomes both divers, snorkelers and leisure travelers, giving access to Komodo’s famed dive sites and its diverse marine life, or offering the option to enjoy land excursions, island hopping, and scenic relaxation on board. Whether diving into rich underwater ecosystems or exploring the rugged beauty of the islands, this boat provides an excellent platform for a flexible and enjoyable experience.

On the main deck, the diving area is designed for efficient gear preparation, making underwater excursions smooth and straightforward. Guests can then retreat to the upper deck, where an open-air shaded lounge and dining space invite relaxation between activities. For those who prefer the sun, a spacious sundeck on the upper level offers the perfect spot to soak up rays or gaze at star-filled night skies, creating a tranquil atmosphere for every moment onboard.

Cabin

Putri Naga has 3 guest cabins, It can welcome up 6 guests in absolute comfort:

Each cabin features a private en suite bathroom, a writing desk, and convenient amenities like USB chargers, a safe deposit box, a hair dryer, and premium toiletries.

3 Guests Cabins:
Located on the main deck, each cabin are 12 - 14m² in size, and comes with a king bed or two single beds side by side, desk, as well as lots of operable seaview windows provide refreshing sea views and natural light.


Diving

  • 3 to 4 dives per day, depending on conditions and route.
  • No dive on the embarkation and disembarkation day.
  • Only 1 - 2 dives will be provided on the last diving day.
  • All diving will provide experienced guide to lead the dive.
  • For divers with less than 50 logged dives, a private guide is mandatory.

Itineraries

KOMODO LIVEABOARD ADVENTURE 8D/7N

Day 1: Welcome Aboard!
Your adventure begins as we set sail from Labuan Bajo towards Sebayur. After a smooth check-in, we kick off with a check dive at Sebayur Kecil, the perfect way to get comfortable in the water. Later, we cruise to Kalong Island, where you can witness the mesmerizing flight of thousands of flying foxes at sunset. For divers, there’s the option of a night dive at Waenilu, a muck diving paradise.

Day 2: Exploring Rinca & Diving Adventures
We start the day early with a guided trek on Rinca Island, home to the legendary Komodo dragons and other unique wildlife. Afterward, we jump into the water for spectacular dives at Pengah, Bonsai, and Mawan. In the evening, we sail towards Padar, where an optional night dive awaits.

Day 3: Padar Trek & Underwater Wonders
A sunrise trek on Padar Island rewards us with one of the most iconic views in Komodo. Then, we dive into the underwater wonders of Pillarsteen and 3 Sisters, two incredible dive sites teeming with marine life. We continue our journey south towards Komodo, where a night dive may be available.

Day 4: Manta Encounters & South Komodo
Get ready for a breathtaking experience at Manta Alley, one of the best spots in Komodo to encounter graceful manta rays. If conditions allow, we may dive here twice for an extended manta experience. Another exciting dive follows at German Flag or South Tala. In the afternoon, we visit the famous Pink Beach, where you can relax and enjoy the stunning scenery. A night dive is possible in this area.

Day 5: The Heart of Komodo
Today, we explore three of Komodo’s top dive sites: Batu Bolong, Manta Point, and Tatawa Kecil. These locations offer thrilling currents, rich coral reefs, and diverse marine life, making them a highlight of the trip. In the evening, we begin our journey towards northern Komodo, with an optional night dive.

Day 6: Diving in North Komodo
The northern reefs are known for their stunning underwater landscapes and pelagic action. We dive at Castle Rock, Crystal Rock, Cauldron, or Golden Passage, depending on conditions. In the afternoon, we take a scenic trek to Gili Lawa Darat, offering a breathtaking view of the surrounding islands.

Day 7: Final Dive & Relaxation
We wrap up our diving adventure with a final morning dive at Tatawa Besar, a beautiful site known for its vibrant coral gardens and marine life. Afterward, it’s time to relax on board, allowing equipment to dry before packing up as we make our way back to Labuan Bajo.

Day 8: Farewell & Disembarkation
After an unforgettable week filled with adventure, breathtaking landscapes, and incredible diving, we disembark in Labuan Bajo.

Useful information

Komodo

Best time for diving
May to October, the weather in Komodo is at its best between April and November. During the wet season (December to March) the weather can get a bit windy, with heavy quick rains, sometimes can cause rough surface conditions. However, liveaboards run trips here year-round.

The visibility in the North is excellent at 30 meters or even more, while it ranges between 10-15 meters in the South.
Some dive sites can have significant currents, whirlpools and see downdrafts. Sea conditions might change very quickly. Other dive sites are more quiet and rich in macro, especially in the South.

About temperatures
Air : range between 23°C - 32°C year-round.
Sea : in the North Komodo it can be around 26°C -29°C, while it gets colder towards the south where it can drop down to 22° C.

Wetsuit Recommendation
We recommend a 3 - 5 mm full wetsuit throughout the year for Komodo area.

Diver requirement
Intermediate to Advanced level, A good level in diving and some experience in drift diving are recommended to participate to Komodo cruise.

Embarkation / Disembarkation
Most of the embarkation / disembarkation will be in Labuan Bajo (LBJ).
Unless the trip is from Bali - Komodo, then the embarkation can be in Bali (DPS).

Visa Requirements
Indonesia offers a free visa on arrival service for many nationalities which allows visitors to stay in the country for up to 30 days. A list of countries that are eligible for visa on arrival can be found on the Indonesian Government's Directorate General of Immigration.

Please note: Immigration officials in Indonesia may ask for proof of onward travel (e.g. a return or onward air ticket).

Vaccinations
Yellow fever vaccination certificate is required for travellers over the age of 9 months arriving from countries with risk of yellow fever transmission.

Money Matters
The local currency is Indonesian Rupiah (IDR), all liveaboards accept cash payments in USD.
Rupiah can be purchased from all major banks and exchange outlets. Credit and debit cards are also accepted in major hotels, restaurants & shops.

Drones
There are very few restrictions on the use of drones for photography purposes within Indonesia. Please check Drone laws in Indonesia for details.

Most Komodo liveaboard trips connect via a regional hub. We recommend arriving 1 day before embarkation to recover from travel and to clear any park or transit fees. Airport transfers are included in the trip price.
