Boat

Tala is a 37m long, 7.25m wide steel-hulled vessel that cruises at 14 knots. It offer diver and kite surfer amazing liveaboard experience in the Red Sea year round.

Tala is notably seaworthy, capable of reaching speeds of 14 knots and maintaining her steadiness. Decked with a full array of diving equipment such as underwater scooters, an unlimited selection of tanks and a variety of gases. It is highly acknowledged for the tech diving support it provides.

Tala has a spacious air-conditioned lounge with dining area and several outdoor relaxation areas to choose from. The saloon is very spacious and is well equipped with TV, DVD and stereo.

There is a large sun deck for relaxing after the dive and is a perfect place to re-cap the day with your fellow divers.

Tala is equivalent to a floating dive centre, It is fully equipped with underwater scooters, an unlimited selection of tanks and other basic dive gear. The dive deck offers plenty of space for all of your equipment and for divers to kit up.

Tala can offer Rebreather and Tec diving too!

Alongside a friendly, hospitable crew that is available to assist you at all times, the fully equipped kitchen provides three wholesome meals a day and caters for a variety of tastes and preferences. All ingredients are fresh and everything onboard is prepared from scratch.

Cabin

Tala has 11 guest cabins, it can welcome up to 22 guests per trip:

All cabins are air-conditioned and have en-suite bathroom, a fridge, 220 v. 2-pin sockets and plenty of storage space.

After unpacking, your suitcases will be stored away until your departure.

Diving

Egypt offers year-round diving with two distinct seasons. Manta and warmer water characterise the wet season, while larger pelagics and cooler water mark the dry season. Browse upcoming departures by month on the Schedules tab to pick the best window for your travel dates.

Yes. Valid dive insurance covering emergency evacuation, hyperbaric treatment and diving accidents is mandatory on all Tala departures. We also recommend travel insurance with trip cancellation coverage. Proof of insurance is checked at embarkation.

Nitrox is available on Tala for an additional charge. Larger 15L tanks, rebreather support and tech diving can be arranged on request. Notify our dive team at the time of booking so we can confirm availability and add the surcharge.
Most Egypt liveaboard trips connect via a regional hub. We recommend arriving 1 day before embarkation to recover from travel and to clear any park or transit fees. Airport transfers are included in the trip price.
