Boat

SeaRose II is a spacious and elegant Maldives liveaboard built for diving, exploration, and relaxation at sea. Measuring approximately 43.4 m in length with an 11 m beam, this vessel was originally launched in 2009 and recently fully renovated in 2024 to modernise both its interiors and technical systems.

SeaRose II cruises comfortably at around 10 knots, with a top speed of about 11 knots, powered by a reliable Yanmar Diesel engine that ensures smooth navigation between the stunning dive sites of the Maldives.

Onboard, guests enjoy stylish indoor and outdoor living spaces. A welcoming lounge area serves as the social heart of the vessel, complete with an entertainment system and comfy seating. The dining area offers gourmet meals throughout your cruise, while the sun deck invites relaxation with panoramic sea views and a soothing hot tub — perfect for unwinding between dives.

Diving operations are supported by a dedicated 17 m dive dhoni, making it easy to access prime dive locations such as Rasdhoo Atoll and Maaya Thila. The professional dive team includes both local and international crew members, providing experienced guidance for underwater exploration.

SeaRose II has 10 air-conditioned guest cabins, accommodating up to 20 guests in comfort:

Best time for diving
December to April, Central Maldives is suitable for diving year-round, these months are the Northeast dry season, and it's the time for best visibility and weather condition.
The visibility range between 20 - 40 meters year-round. And the currents are usually mild to intermediate. Diving depth range from 10 - 40 meters.

About temperatures
Air : range between 27°C - 32°C year-round.
Sea : very stable and warm, range from 28°C - 30°C year-round.

Wetsuit Recommendation
We recommend a dive Skin or 3 mm wetsuit throughout the year.

Diver requirement
Suitable for all levels, but to enjoy the best out of it, we recommend an AOW level with 30 dives.

North Maldives

Best time for diving
June to November, North Maldives offers great diving all year, especially in the Far North Atolls, you can expect sunny skies most of the year. And in Hanifaru Bay, each year during June to November is the famous cyclone feeding, which is a rare and spectacular event where over 100 manta rays can feed together and create a chain which the head of each manta ray touches the tail of the manta in front. This creates a huge spiral of up to 200 mantas along with their fellow plankton feeders the Whale Shark.

Sea : very stable and warm, range from 27°C - 29°C year-round.

Wetsuit Recommendation

December to April offers the best visibility and sea conditions. Although short spells of heavy rainfall can be experienced during the summer months, but this region do offer good diving all year round.

Diver requirement
Suitable for divers have AOW level with good drift diving experience, as there can be strong currents in the channels surrounding the islands.

Most Central Maldives, North Maldives liveaboard trips connect via a regional hub. We recommend arriving 1 day before embarkation to recover from travel and to clear any park or transit fees. Airport transfers are included in the trip price.
