Boat
Solitude One is a 52 meters long, 8.6 meters wide steel-hulled merchant vessel originally built in 1979 and compeletly rebuilt in 2013. This boat is definition of luxury begins with its design, creating purposeful and functional spaces for rest and play, with even the vessel’s dive deck and boat deck space. It has two engines, cruising speed at 11 knots per hour.
Solitude One has a well-trained crew team who address their guests by name, can anticipate individual needs, and appear only when needed, allowing them the privacy and exclusivity of a “home away from home”.
The main lounge area is designed both for social interaction and private reflection. The lounge will immediately sets you at ease with its deck colour scheme. From its very inviting bean bags beckoning you to sink into them with a good book to the plush sofas to play card and board games with your pals. Computer terminals are available if you want to leave your laptop at home and a library of carefully selected periodicals and books will give you all the intellectual stimulation you need.
There is an independent digital room placed adjacent to the lounge, purpose-built for safely stowing camera and video equipment, for prepping, charging batteries and working on. A CCTV will also be installed to make sure everything stays safe!
Solitude One has another Open air dinning lounge on the upper deck, as well as a jacuzzi for relaxing during the cruise.
Meals are carefully planned and constructed to make sure all palates are taken into consideration. Great pride goes into the preparation of these meals and special diets are attended to, so we can look after you well.
There is a wide selection of beverages at your disposal, and there will always be something for the peckish, even in the wee hours of the morning. The bar serves a good selection of spirits, wines and beer, readily available to you at an additional cost.
Solitude One also features a spacious sundeck for all the sun lovers. Half the deck is swathed in shade for those of you who prefer fresh sea air under some UV protection. The deck is also great for watching out for dancing dolphins and breaching mantas or hanging out in the evenings to look at constellations in the night sky. On specified trips, a massage therapist can work your cares away on the open deck. It'll just be like your own private resort, surrounded by clear blue waters, mushroom islands and your personal reflections.
The dive deck has enough space to accommodate 30 divers. Fully equipped with 3 air compressor, Nitrox membrane system, 130 units aluminium tanks in different size with DIN Valves (York Adapters available), Rebreather Support etc.
Cabin
Solitude One has 10 guest cabins, accommodating up to 22 guests per trip :
All cabins have en-suite bathroom (with shampoo and shower gel), A/C, safe deposit box, bath robes, towels, hair dryer, reading lights, ample hangers & wardrobe organisers, electrical points with 200V - 240V.
1 VIP Stateroom (Cabin A1) :
Located on the main deck, at the front of the vessel. This is the largest cabin available with 19.2sqm, comes with a kingsize double bed and a day‐bed that can be converted into a single bed for a 3rd person sharing (child 12 years or younger) if required.
1 VIP Stateroom (Cabin A2) :
Located on the main deck, cabin size about 14.7sqm. This cabin comes with two single beds side by side, seaview windows.
1 VIP Stateroom (Cabin B6) :
Located on the lower deck, this is the 2nd largest cabin with 17.8sqm in size. This cabin somes with a kingsize double bed and a day‐bed that can be converted into a single bed for a 3rd person sharing (child 12 years or younger) if required.
2 Deluxe Double Cabins (Cabin B1, B2) :
Located on the lower deck, each cabin is 11.7sqm in size, comes with one queen-size double bed, ideal for couples.
3 Deluxe Twin Cabins (Cabin B3, B5, B7) :
Located on the lower deck, each cabin is 11.7sqm in size, comes with one queen-size double bed and an extra single bed in bunk style.
1 Deluxe Bunk Cabin (Cabin B4) :
Located on the lower deck, this cabin is 10.5sqm in size, comes with two single beds in bunk style.
1 Quad Sharing Cabin (Cabin B8) :
Located on the lower deck, 23.7sqm in size. This cabin is designed for families, a small group of friends or individuals who do not mind sharing with other like‐minded divers. The cabin has 2 bunk‐beds and 2 single beds, each guest will have their own wardrobe and personal electrical points to charge their own gadgets.
Diving

Palau - 8D/7N Itinerary - 11D/10N possible
Day 1 – Palau Mainland
Embarkation: Upon boarding Solitude One, a welcome from the rest of our crew awaits you. Orientation and registration will begin once you are welcomed.
Day 2 : Choice of: Helmet Wreck/Chandelier Cave/Jake Seaplane/ Teshio Maru (2 or 3 dives).
Day 3 : Choice of: Iro Wreck/Ulong Channel/Sandy Paradise/Siaes Corner (3 or 4 dives).
Day 4 : Choice of: Siaes Tunnel/Siases Corner/Ulong Channel/Sandy Paradise/German Channel/New Drop-Off (3 or 4 dives).
Day 5 & 6 : Choice of: Peleliu (Wall/Cut/Express/Corner)/Orange Beach/ German Channel/(Blue Corner/Blue Holes)/Turtle Cove/Big Drop-Off (3 or 4 dives per day)
Day 7 : Choice of: German Channel/Blue Corner/New Drop-Off/Big Drop-Off/Ngedebus Corner (3 dives)
Day 8 ‐ Palau Mainland
After a big breakfast, you have optional complimentary tours (you will only need to pay for the entry permit fees) of Jellyfish Lake & Milky Way by speed boat. After the tour, you will return to Solitude One and prepare for check-out before a late lunch. Disembarkation (check-out) will be by 1700hrs (dinner is not included). Late check-out till the latest 0000Hrs (the next day) can be accommodated subject to availability and extra charge (please enquire for the current rate that will also include dinner).
Tubbataha Reef National Park - 7D/6N
Day 1 – Embarkation (Puerto Princesa)
Embarkation at the harbour of Puerto Princesa starts from 1400Hrs. Only transfers from Puerto Princesa Domestic Airport are included in the cruise package. Hotel transfer will be subject to charges. Solitude One will get underway towards Tubbataha Reef National Park at sunset (estimated time of travel is 10 hours)
Day 2 to 4 - Tubbataha North & South Atoll
As dive sites in Tubbataha Reefs are in close proximity, dive sites will be scheduled based on tides/currents as well as communicating with other liveaboards in the vicinity to avoid overcrowding a particular dive site.
Day 5 to 6 - North Atoll & Jessie Beazley Reef
As dive sites in Tubbataha Reefs are in close proximity, dive sites will be scheduled based on tides/currents as well as communicating with other liveaboards in the vicinity to avoid overcrowding a particular dive site. Your last dive has to conform to our 18 hours no‐fly/no‐altitude policy.
Day 6 - Evening
Solitude One will get underway towards Puerto Princesa (estimated time of travel is 9 hours) after the scheduled final night dive in Jessie Beazley Reef.
Day 7 - Disembarkation (Puerto Princesa)
After a big breakfast, we will organise an appreciation briefing followed by final disembarkation for our guests around 1100hrs.
Anilao TO Surigao - 11D/10N
Day 1: Anilao
Embark Solitude One by 5 pm at the latest (depending on flight arrival times)& Welcome Briefing, overnight cruise to Romblon.
Day 2: Verde Island
We will spend our first diving day at Verde Island, in particular, ‘San Agapito’. This site offers a sheer abundance of life with pristine corals shrouded by dense shoals of fish, a remarkable dive spot. In between the giant trevallies hunting, the strong currents this sight is known for on occasion bring in passing pelagics.
Day 3 & 4: Romblon
we will spend one day diving in the macro haven of Romblon diving around an array of sites there, such as ‘Ghost Valley’ and ‘Broken House’ where we look for the famous Melibe sp. And Cyerce sp. nudibranchs. While here we will also conduct either Blackwater or Bonfire dives depending on conditions.
Day 5, 6 & 7: Ticao
Dive a couple of the stunning reef walls, which are packed with a variety of nudibranchs and crustaceans.Following, we will move to the East of Ticao and dive ‘Manta Bowl’ where we hope to see Manta Rays and potentially Whale Sharks. Our last destination in Ticao will be in the South, where we will dive around the lush mangroves and ‘Snake Island’ which is teeming with a variety of life due to the nutrient-rich waters.
Day 8 & 9: Malapascua
One of the few places where Thresher Sharks are regularly seen – being on a liveaboard we can be there before any of the land based centres! Besides the Threshers there is plenty of great dive spots around such as Gato Island and Kalanggaman and its picturesque sandbar.
Day 10: Southern Leyte
Home to stunning reef that are reminiscent of Tubbataha and fantastic black sand macro; one of the hidden gems in the Philippines.
Day 11: Surigao
Disembarkation between 8 am, and 11 am.

Visayas
Best time for diving
November to May is generally considered the best period for diving in the Visayas, during the dry season, when sea conditions are calmer and visibility is at its best. Diving is possible year-round, especially in protected areas such as Cebu, Bohol, and Negros. The rainy season usually runs from June to October, with occasional typhoons, mainly affecting the northern Visayas. Visibility typically ranges between 15 – 30 meters, with mild to moderate currents depending on the site.
About temperatures
Air: generally ranges between 26°C – 32°C year-round.
Sea: warm throughout the year, usually between 26°C – 30°C.
Wetsuit Recommendation
A 3 mm wetsuit is suitable year-round. Some divers may prefer a 5 mm during longer dives between December and February.
Diver requirement
Suitable for all levels, from beginners to advanced divers. Calm reefs, abundant macro life, whale shark encounters (seasonal), and occasional stronger currents make the Visayas ideal for both training dives and advanced drift diving. Embarkation / Disembarkation
Liveaboards in the Visayas usually embark and disembark in Cebu City (CEB). Depending on the itinerary (North or South Visayas), alternative ports such as Dumaguete (DGT), Tagbilaran (TAG), or Malapascua (CEB) may be used. Tubbataha Reef
Best time for diving
March to June is considered the best season for diving in Tubbataha, as the seas are calm and visibility is excellent, often between 20 – 40 meters. Currents can be moderate to strong, making some sites more suitable for experienced divers. The park is closed from mid-June to mid-March due to rough seas during the rainy season.
About temperatures
Air: generally ranges between 28°C - 34°C during the diving season.
Sea: warm all year round, around 27°C - 30°C.
Wetsuit Recommendation
A 3 mm wetsuit is usually sufficient, although some divers prefer a 5 mm for longer dives or early-season trips.
Diver requirement

Embarkation / Disembarkation
Liveaboards usually depart from Puerto Princesa (PPS), Palawan. For the 1st and last trip during the dive season, itineraries include a return to Puerto Princesa or an alternate port, please check with our agent for exact details.

Palau
Best time for diving
Late November - early June, as these months have the best weather and best visibility. Palau can dive any time throughout the year, the rains are heavier from July to early October which reduces the visibility to an average of 15m and can cause weather conditions that may interfere with diving. Manta rays mating is from December to March (which is also considered as the "high season"). The grey reef shark mating is usually happen between February to March. Turtles breeding is from April to July.
About temperatures
Air : lovely tropical weather range from 27°C - 30°C year round
Sea : between 28°C - 29°C year round without much variation
Wetsuit Recommendation
We recommend a dive Skin or 3 mm.
Diver requirement
We advice recommend to have at least an AOW certification ideally combined with Nitrox. As most of the dive sites are over 18 meters and strong currents can happen.

Money Matters
The local currency of Palau is the US Dollar (USD). The majority of established hotels, shops and restaurants accept major credit cards or traveler's' cheques. Occasionally smaller, family-run business will only accept cash. There are several US operated banks and plenty of ATMs so cash is readily accessible although the rate of exchange is very poor. Therefore, guests are advised to change money prior to arrival in Palau.
Ban on Sunscreens
On 1st January 2020, Palau introduced a ban on sunscreens which contain ingredients that are toxic to reefs. This directive means it is illegal to sell reef-toxic sunscreen products and also illegal to bring any into the Republic of Palau; any prohibited reef-toxic sunscreen shall be confiscated upon entry into the Republic of Palau.
Reef-toxic sunscreens are those which containoxybenzone, octylmethoxycinnamate, octocrylene, 4-methyl-benzylidene camphor, triclosan, methyl paraben, ethyl paraben, butyl paraben, benzyl paraben, phenoxythanol, or other chemical ingredients that are considered harmful to the marine environment.
Drones
The use of drones is allowed as long as the drone has been registered and a permit obtained from the Palau National Aviation Administration office in advance. Permits are free of charge and usually take 2-3 working days to process. Drone registration can be submitted online via the Palau Visitors Authority website.
